Xcelerate Announces Continued Progress on ASA Africa Initiative

Haydom Hospital engagement advances Emergency Department pilot preparations and CareMD integration discussions in Tanzania

MAULDIN, SC / November 4, 2026 / Xcelerate Inc. (OTC: “XCRT”) today announced what it considers to be significant progress on its Afya Sasa Africa (ASA Africa) initiative following recent visits by Dr. Desirè Ruhinda to Haydom Regional Rural Referral Hospital, also known as Haydom Lutheran Hospital (HLH), in Haydom, Tanzania. Afya Sasa Africa LLC, a subsidiary of Xcelerate, previously announced an agreement to implement its artificial intelligence (AI)-based healthcare services at Haydom Lutheran Hospital. The 420-bed hospital serves an estimated population of 5.7 million people in North Central Tanzania and handles approximately 12,635 inpatient admissions and 103,173 outpatient visits annually.

The hospital has been very receptive to the initiative and is open to piloting the solution. During his visits, Dr. Desirè Ruhinda met with hospital management, clinical staff, and the IT and development teams. The discussions included an assessment of the hospital’s existing CareMD electronic medical record system and preparations for a proposed pilot in the Emergency Department. A practical workflow has also been established for the proposed pilot, using tablets at patient triage. A designated nurse would obtain patient consent and conduct AI-assisted patient intake before patients proceed to consultation. The hospital’s technical team has confirmed its willingness to support integration with CareMD. Further discussions have taken place with the development team to review the integration requirements.

Pilot Preparation and Next Steps

With the hospital arrangements largely established, ASA Africa now has a clear operational pathway for the proposed pilot at Haydom. The immediate priorities are to maintain the established arrangements with the Hospital, complete the technology assessment, and determine the most suitable platform for its local clinical workflow. The Company is tentatively targeting December 2026 for initial pilot activities, subject to completion of the necessary technical preparations.

“We are encouraged by the progress made at Haydom Lutheran Hospital and the cooperation we have received from its management, clinical staff, and technical team,” said Michael O’Shea, CEO of Xcelerate Inc. “Establishing the clinical workflow and working through the integration requirements are important steps toward bringing the ASA Africa initiative closer to its first pilot activities. We appreciate the hospital’s commitment and look forward to continuing this work as we advance our plans in Tanzania.”

The progress at Haydom represents an encouraging step for the ASA Africa initiative. The hospital partnership, clinical workflow, and operational arrangements for a pilot are now largely in place, bringing the project closer to its initial clinical activities.
